Interesting little piece of New York I never knew existed.

And a documentary I’d like to watch about it.

I love it. I think about it even more than bikes. I think that’s the only reason I’ve been able to keep this hectic schedule for so long. Tattooing is the greatest, besides chilling with Angelique of course.

So if you’re readings this then just say fuck it. Figure out a way to do what you love. I know I’ll be decent as a tattoo artist. If not for any reason but this – I love it and want to push myself to get better at it. When you love what you do then its not work. My dad would always tell me that, I’d think ‘bullshit! Work is work.’ But he (with a lot of things) was right.

Find what you love and do it. Fuck the rest, it will all work ouy

I’ve fallen off the wagon. I eat cheese again. The bane of vegan’s has gotten me. pizza! I know I’m not the only one to have fallen to this evil. But my issues are deep people. I live in Ohio, the worst place for pizza EVER. These locals don’t know what they’re talking about. I don’t want to hate but lets call a spade a spade. Ohio pizza sucks and I miss good old fashion NEPA pizza. So Angelique, lets pack the car take a two day trip and eat!

Stop 1 – Pizza Perfect

This gem is considered Old Forge style pizza. Like nothing else. Impossible to describe, so I won’t even try.

Stop 2 – Victory Pig

This is old school, open three days a week only and still offers ‘honk for curbside service’. No website. This blog is the best thing I’ve found on it. If you click the link you’ll see in her picture the pizza is very similar but more cheesy. Yumz.

Stop 3 – Sabatini’s

The sauce! Oh so good. Traditional round pizza done to just about perfection.

Stop 4 – Grotto (at the lake)

I’m feeling a little dubious about this one. Childhood memories might get the best of me. Their new site looks awfully homogenized/chain restaurant/corporate for my taste. But I’ll put it down. This place was awesome. So good I had to ditch out of my sisters wedding while visiting NEPA to grab a pie.

Stop 5 – Sizzle Pi

Another ‘old forge style’. This place has charm, check out the link above and scroll to the left to see the architecture. Classic, been that way for 50 years probably and will be the exact same for another 50 (I hope).

So what do you think Angelique? We can definitely do this in a day and I know your mom would love to join us. I’m ready…
