Cathy and Jeannine came in and spent the afternoon with me on Saturday. Good times as always. Cathy was first and got these cute little ladies holding hands on her ribs.

It’s from a comic book. Photo is distorted because of how she was sitting (yeah! I probably should have had her stand upright.).

Next, we worked on Jeannine’s flowers on her ribs.

Nik (finally!) came in and got some more work done on his chest piece. It’s been 3-4 months since the outline was done. Here’s the first pass of the heart. Going to go back over it and add a lot more. But I like to see the progressions of things, maybe you do also…

And here’s a nice little one that Sara came and got for her grandmother on her BUTT!

A trip home

Angelique and I had to make a quick trip back to Pennsylvania last week. Drove out Wednesday, her grandmothers funeral Thursday and drove home Friday. She was a great lady and lived a long fruitful life before alzeimers pretty much destroyed her quality of life for the last 6-7 years. A shame, I would have loved to get to know her. She seemed like a great woman.

Here a photo of the beautiful wallpaper the funeral home had.

There’s something beautifully complex about a rose. A flower like no other. I want to tattoo one of these in grey wash real bad.

And to anyone who reads this, sorry I’ve been slacking. I’ll start posting more photos again…
